Mermaid Donations
Greetings! Daughters of Neptune Productions is currently working on a
documentary featuring Magical Mermaids. Florida's Weeki Wachee Springs was an early training base and facility for all of these unique
creatures, including those who starred in Hollywood water dramas.
We have
gathered their tales and pictures, too, for an unforgettable film, “ONCE
A MERMAID…Tails of Weeki Wachee.”
The film will include valuable interviews with Ginger Stanley (JUPITER'S DARLING, CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON), Susan Backlinie (JAWS), and numerous Mermaid kinsfolk, including Ricou Browning (CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON), within the Weeki Wachee family.
Come with us, to Weeki Wachee! We aim to tell the complete history of the Weeki Wachee Mermaids and have a lot of fun along the way. Vintage still photos and archival movie footage augment over one hundred hours of mermaid interviews.
Because of fees for film clip and musical numbers licensing, as well as general editing costs, we are hoping to procure completion funding. If you and/or people you know need a tax deduction, please consider this timeless story of the Mermaids and their kinsfolk. Tax–deductible receipts will be provided for any support you can provide.
